Wow… March flew by! Here we are April… hello new month and hello Friday! Any exciting plans this weekend.. or this month? Alena has been on spring break, so we’re just finishing up her week off. It’s crazy that in a couple of months, Alena will be done with 4th grade… and on to being a 5th grader. She’s growing up so quickly, next year she’ll be an 11-year old tween!!

Earlier this year, I promised I wouldn’t be so “vanilla” when it comes to blogging. Lately, I feel I have been. It’s easy to fall into the basic bin and post charming things to make life sound sweet. But life isn’t always sweet. While lately I’ve been happy, loved, and having fun with my life and my dear ones… I’m feeling antsy because I still don’t know precisely what I want in life (well, career-wise).

I am interested in so many things (writing, education, politics, social media, fashion…and then some!), and have had many opportunities arise over the last few months… I’ve been taking on lots of projects, but I’m that girl who likes a plan, and I don’t have like my “5-year plan.” Its been said to take life one day at a time, but it’s hard to do. Occasionally, lately, I get anxiety from feelings of being unsettled. Anyone know what I mean? How do you deal? How do you live by that “day at a time” mantra?

With Style & Love,

Amber
